Gary Mosby is ordinary. Unfortunately, Wobblehurst is anything but. After falling asleep in a quiet Sacramento park, forty-something Gary awakens in a bizarre world of floating buildings, sideways streets, talking animals, steampunk machines, and rules that rarely make sense.
As one of the few people who remains physically unchanged, Gary quickly earns an unusual title: a Regular. With help from Xee, a raccoon mechanic who occasionally becomes a red panda, and Kiha, a mysterious yellow alien connected to Wobblehurst's secretive Council, Gary begins searching for a way home.
His journey leads him to Wilfred Langstaff, an unpredictable steampunk inventor whose dimensional experiments may be destabilizing reality itself. But Wilfred may not be the real threat.
As cracks spread between worlds, Gary encounters a perfectly stable rabbit named Carlton, a lonely cosmic monster, impossible bureaucracy, sentient clocks, flying watches, and solutions involving games, tea, and extremely expensive carrot dust.
To survive Wobblehurst, Gary will need to stop expecting logic, embrace the absurd, and discover that being ordinary may be the most extraordinary thing about him. Welcome to Wobblehurst-the strangest world Gary Mosby has ever seen, and possibly the one place where he truly belongs.
