Opening your find
The Spirit Lives Forever is a young adult fantasy novel. One of the many stories the author has made up over the span of her life. However, this one really stayed with her. Follow the protagonist Alise Ivorre, who has been selected by the God of the planet Khalevior.
She tirelessly prepares to fend off a horrifically persistent and cunning demon who seeks to destroy all life. She did not choose to carry this role and has to wield several abilities that significantly alter how she has to live.
Every day she must feel the heavy loom of her enemy's shadow, the high expectation of her ally, the knowledge of knowing that her failure will cause an entire planet to perish as well as knowing that she must keep it all to herself or her safety will be at risk, all while paying the price of power.
