Opening your find
Two years after the Shroud of Turin was recovered from a brazen heist committed by billionaire zealot Pierre Delacroix, Nicole McHenry and her team at the University of South Carolina have discovered something amazing encoded into the Shroud.
Nicole's discovery puts her on a path that will put her at odds with her own Church, a path that will lead to even more dangerous territory when the Church, once again, refuses to reveal to the world the true nature of the Shroud.
With Gideon DeVito, her de facto protector, by her side, Nicole will have to team up with her previous adversaries in order to enact her shocking plan to bring the Shroud's truth to the world. In doing so, Nicole will face dangers bred by lies, betrayal, and secrecy.
The outcome of Nicole's endeavors is unclear: even if she can reveal the secrets contained in the Shroud, will anyone believe her?
