The CIA and private military companies PMC's are training mercenaries and soldiers in Africa to drive people off of their land and take minerals. There are business investment in Somalia when ordinary Somalis did not ask for these projects in their country. The CIA backed various warlords in Somalia against each other, spending millions of dollars on these supposedly secular warlords known as the Alliance for the Restoration of Peace and Counter-Terrorism that tore apart Somalia's societal fabric and therefore caused the brutal horrific Al Shabab to come to power as a form of Blowback to the CIA covert operations program of backing different warlords.

Now the U.S. pays Bancroft International private war corporation to train elite Somali units that are known as the Danab Lightening Brigade, according to recent sources, to fight the Al Shabab that are a creation of U.S. policy of backing different factions of warlords to tear up Somalia.

All wars are created to enhance the fortunes of private war corporations making weapons or training fighters. Private corporations also want minerals. Somalia's minerals include uranium, tin, silica sand, quartz, limestone, kaolin, iron ore, gold, feldspar, copper and bauxite, among other precious resource deposits.
