Opening your find
The gods are indifferent; the dwarves linger beneath the mountains; the elves are fading; and the magic that has bound the world together for ten thousand years is dying. Ashwyn is an ancient ranger wandering a landscape growing wild and empty around him. He sets this dying world alight when he encounters a human boy in the ruins of a dead village.
One choice leads to another, and what follows is a reckoning: one that will carry Ashwyn from the freezing highlands to the mammoth steppe, through the cradle of civilization, and into impenetrable jungles. He has seen this road before. Somewhere at the end of this turn of the Wheel is a choice only Ashwyn can make, and it will cost him everything he is.
Out of the dead, the living are grown. Strangers from the South is a story of beginnings and endings.
