Red Sky At Dawn

A man walking his dog early morning finds a woman's body . . . on the cliffs at the end of a long beach at a little town called Spittal, south of the Tweed estuary. Eventually she is identified . . . Her husband is contacted and questioned . . . . . . but then the investigation stalls . . . A couple of senior officers are drafted up from Newcastle . . . Why this woman? Who would do this . . . with a medieval sword?
