Kayleigh and her best friend, Kash the friendly alligator, are excited to visit Bayou Bend Firehouse for Family Day. Chief Ruby shows them the fire truck, firefighter gear, smoke alarms, and important safety rules like "stop, drop, and roll." Their fun day suddenly becomes a real emergency when Kayleigh and Kash notice smoke near the picnic area.
By staying calm, keeping a safe distance, and quickly warning Chief Ruby, they help the firefighters stop the fire before it can spread.
Filled with friendship, courage, humor, and valuable fire-safety lessons, Kayleigh & Kash: Firehouse Gator is a heartwarming bayou adventure that teaches young readers how important it is to stay alert, make safe choices, and always tell a grown-up when something is wrong.
