Dancing in the Rain is a one-of-a-kind mixed media painting that explores movement, texture, and contrast through a dramatic monochromatic palette. Created using a distinctive process, hot wax was poured directly onto the canvas to build rich organic textures before layers of paint were applied.
Portions of the wax were then carefully removed, allowing the surface to reveal depth, movement, and unexpected details. Silver leaf accents were incorporated throughout the composition, and the artwork was sealed with a protective clear finish to preserve its textured surface.
The interplay of black, white, and subtle metallic highlights creates an ever-changing visual experience as light moves across the painting.
