Opening your find
What if, in the middle of all the burdens you are carrying, God is inviting you to pause and breathe? Not because the bills have disappeared, the diagnosis has changed, the waiting has ended, or every prayer has been answered. But because God is still with you.
As a specialist neonatal nurse, I have cared for babies whose ability to breathe could never be taken for granted. I have watched anxious parents wait for the rise and fall of a tiny chest. I have seen the fear that fills a room when breathing becomes difficult, and the overwhelming relief that comes when a baby finally begins to breathe independently.

Life has a way of making us forget how to breathe. We keep moving through responsibilities, deadlines, disappointments, expectations, and uncertainties. We care for everyone else.
We keep showing up. We keep working, serving, praying, smiling, and trying to remain strong. And yet, somewhere within it all, the soul becomes tired.
BREATHE is a 40-day Christian devotional and guided journey into the presence of God for anyone who has ever felt overwhelmed, spiritually weary, anxious, discouraged, forgotten, or simply in need of a moment to stop and return to God.
Rooted in Scripture, prayer, reflection, and quiet moments with the Holy Spirit, these forty devotional moments speak to the realities of everyday life. They meet you in the seasons of waiting, disappointment, delay, rejection, grief, uncertainty, fear, and exhaustion. They remind you that even when you cannot see the way forward, God has not abandoned you.
Each moment is an invitation to pause. To read the Word. To reflect. To pray. To listen. To breathe. BREATHE is more than a devotional to read quickly and put away. It is a book to return to in the middle of real life. A book for the morning when you need strength. The evening
