Behind the Cloth is a gripping crime drama and psychological thriller set in the dangerous world of organized crime, deception, family loyalty, and murder. The story follows Detective Peter Boscarieno, a respected New York detective investigating a terrifying series of executions targeting powerful mob bosses throughout the city.
Each murder appears carefully planned and professionally conducted. The only strange clue connecting the crimes is the repeated sighting of a mysterious nun dressed in black seen near all murder scene moments before the killings take place.
As fear spreads through the criminal underworld, mob leaders begin holding secret meetings and sit-downs, desperately trying to discover who is behind the murders before they become the next victims. Trust disappears, paranoia grows, and long-time alliances begin falling apart. At the center of the investigation is Theresa Boscarieno, Peter's sister.
Her past connections and suspicious circumstances slowly place her under the microscope of detectives and prosecutors. Evidence begins pointing toward Theresa as the person responsible for the murders while disguised as a nun. But Theresa insists she is innocent. Peter finds himself trapped between his duty as a detective and his loyalty to his own family.
As the investigation intensifies, police surveillance repeatedly captures images of the mysterious nun walking calmly away from the scenes of the murders, disappearing before anyone can identify the killer.
